• Continuous development of our Yocto-based Linux distribution for the blue’Log,

• Linux kernel and driver adjustments,

• BSP development for our hardware,

• Maintenance and optimization of our embedded linux build system,

• Technical contact person for security topics,

• Bash scripting,

• Definition and assistance of software quality tests,

• Creation of technical software and system documentation.

• Completed studies (bachelor's degree, master's degree, diploma) in the field of electrical engineering, (technical), computer science,

Experience:

• Several years of professional experience in the field of embedded software development, 

• Very good knowledge of development and testing of hardware related software, 

• Expert knowledge in building embedded Linux systems with Yocto, 

• Experience in bash programming as well as practical knowledge in version control systems, software testing and CI/CD systems, 

• Knowledge in Multi-core architectures, 

• Hands-on experience with IEC 62443-4-1/-4-2 is a plus.

• Team-oriented developer, with interest in renewable energies, a problem solver with an indipendent and structured way of working, 

• Good communication skills and knowledge of English (mandatory).
