Technical Sales Engineer South Africa (all genders)

Your mission:

Acquire and develop new customers in the EPC, O&M, and asset management environment, supporting the sales team throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle.
Take ownership of the technical evaluation and proposal phase for photovoltaic projects, working closely with sales and engineering teams.
Develop customer-specific technical solutions, prepare offers, and support contract negotiations from a technical perspective.
Plan and conduct regular customer meetings and on-site visits to understand technical requirements and build long-term partnerships.
Represent meteocontrol as a technical expert at national and international trade fairs and customer events when required.

Your profile:

You hold a degree in engineering (preferably electrical/electronic) or have completed a technical or commercial apprenticeship with a strong technical focus; experience in renewable energies is a plus.
You have a strong technical affinity for photovoltaic systems and cloud-based SaaS solutions and enjoy translating technical concepts into customer value.
You are comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems and collaborating closely with sales and engineering teams.
You communicate confidently and empathetically across all hierarchical levels and enjoy working in an international, customer-facing environment.
You are business fluent in English; additional languages and willingness to travel are an advantage.
