Project Engineer (all genders)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Cluj-Napoca

Your mission:

Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale photovoltaic power plants, in Germany and internationally,
Collaborate closely with project management and take responsibility for the SCADA scope (plant control, monitoring, power control, grid integration),
Coordinate technical requirements with customers, utilities, and grid operators to develop optimal solutions,
Tackle technical challenges with a solution-driven mindset, and a passion for innovation,
Implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures,
Utilize PLCs and RTUs for protocol conversion, plant automation, power control, and other SCADA functionalities.

Your profile:

Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or a related field,
Independent and structured approach to work,
Strong interest in technical problem-solving and innovation,
Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset,
Excellent communication and organizational skills,
Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership,
Comfortable working in a project-based environment,
Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning tasks,
Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
Analytical thinking,
Problem solver,
Customer-oriented.
